Anyone watch this?

Beerland

I watched the first 2 episodes the other day. So far, i still prefer Brewmasters (dogfish head one) and Brew Dogs.

This doesn't really go into the process, but it's just this woman going around drinking 3 homebrews and saying "you're the winner". It's pretty awkward to watch.

I agree with this. I watched the first one and that was enough.

She has no personality. And just awkwardly stares at the people and doesn't talk. At least get someone with some charisma to host the show. That, and her criticisms of the beers are odd. It's homebrew, and you only picked 3 random people in all of 1 state, and you are expecting perfection? You get what you ask for i guess.

But as i'm reading some reviews, i have to agree that it just seems like a plug for Golden Road Brewery.

Seems like its more of a sociological look at home brewing than anything else.

I agree the chick has no personality, dude in nyc fermenting with a log has been the most interesting thing in the 2 episodes so far.

Not really. Unless your only exploring one element of society that happens to homebrew. At least with what the first 2 episodes have shown. The whole "counter culture" homebrewing thing.

Yeah. The first time he was on talking, i wanted to strangle him with his beard, but when he actually started brewing and they interviewed him the next day, i found it interesting.

I just think vice tries way too hard to be hipster to be taken seriously.

Pretty interesting to watch but like y'all said you don't get many specifics in it.

It's kinda like an Anthony Bourdain show about homebrewing.

But not entertaining and instead of a charismatic and eloquint host, you get a painfully awkward person with limited social interaction skills.
