There's a lot of really good beer out there in cans. Not just the BMC crap.

Depends on the situation.

I put a case of bottles in a cooler once and went off roading back in high school. Pulled over to get a beer out and every goddamn one of them had busted.

So, there is a time and a place for each.

You can not deny there is nothing better to drink for 12 hours in September, in Baton rouge than American Light Lagers.

They have their time and place for sure. Doesn't mean it's not crap, but if I'm not buying...

Good beer shouldn't be very cold, more like kind of chilly. MArketing has convinced people that beer shouldn't be bitter and that it should be super cold.

Cold numbs your taste buds and beer is SUPPOSED TO BE BITTER.

frick, sometimes I hate America.

I agree with some of your logic. I think that shitty domestic beer must be cold in order for it to be drinkable. A great brew can be drank cold, chilled, or even at room temperature.

I whole heartedly disagree that beer should be bitter, regardless of temperature.

Bottle, can, or draft doesn't matter. It should always be poured into a room temp glass though.

I realize this isn't always possible (tailgating, at the beach, etc). But when you have access to a glass, use it.

I usually walk or bike, so I might bring a few bottles, but not enough for all day.
