Anyone have this beer before? I might try one today

I think it is really good. Easily Top 5 LA beer. Almost better than Sierra Nevada Pale Ale.

Had one at Bulldog. Great pale ale.

Is it made in New Iberia?

I had it for the first time this weekend. Pretty good beer. Can't remember which one I had though.
I think Lazy Magnolia is brewing for them right now, which I found kind of odd.

Lots of breweries that have too large of a capacity for their production will do contract brewing. This is actually a pretty common practice. So a smaller brewery without the equipment to make a lot of beer will let another brewery do the work and give them a cut. Sam Adams actually gets a lot of its beer made at a Coors facility I believe.
It is from the Bayou Teche Brewery so I would imagine that it is located in Bayou Teche.

can you buy it at a store in BR or just get it at a bar?

Yeah, I have seen it happen, but I was not expecting that to be the case with this situation. I am guessing that Bayou Teche is making a few brews and just contracted out to Lazy Magnolia to fill out a product line??
Just seems kind of odd if LM is doing all of the brewing for them. The whole bayou thing and beeing from La and all, but it is brewed by a Miss company.

Yea, i guess the hope is that they can sell enough to build a larger facility to produce it all on site.

I have not seen it in a store in BTR yet but I would imagine that if the Bulldog can get it that Calandro's should have it. I was there the other day and must have jsut missed the six packs.

Not in bottles in BR yet. Should be in next week I believe

Went into local supermarket in Sunset for various beer for a get together on Saturday. I thought I might give it a try......$9.19 a six pack! Instead I bought Heiniken, Dos Equis and Sol. I did get to taste La 31 on Sunday......a little too bitter for my taste.

This is why a craft beer addiction is so bad for me. I bought a 7 dollar 12oz bottle the other day.
