Vitascope is a solid pregame spot for any dome/arena event

Cochon Butcher is your answer.

Cochon Butcher is 20 minutes walking distance. Borgne is way overrated. St. Marie is pretty good...

At Borgne you need to try the pork belly and fried oyster sandwich. It's amazing.

Bump.

Going to the concert tomorrow with my gf, friend, and his girl. We're parking at 1515 Poydras.

I'm curious about Besh happy hours and would like to hear more about them.

Pizza at Domenica is tempting!

We'd like to eat economically but quality and be close to the arena.

Borgne has the $10 lunch specials from 11-3 every day. It's a different item each day. Happy hour is from 3-6 but not sure of what all they have. It's either $.50 or $1 croquets and half off drinks I wanna say

Same deal here. Staying at Drury on Poydras. Jeans and polo type dress, around $15-20 per person entree.

Just looked up Cochon Butcher and it looks pretty good. Not sure how my wife would like it. I doubt she would like Little Gem Saloon and Sainte Marie.

How is Deanies?

BTW, it'll be for an early dinner (5ish) and a drink or two.

I don't now anything about Deanie's but I'd suggest Vitascope in the Hyatt at that price point. It's on the third floor of the and is kind of an upscale sports bar. The menu is all over the place (a good thing) with burgers, gumbo, sushi, oysters so I'm sure you'll find something on there you like.
