I did years ago and it was fine....not gormet fare, but good. I don't know if that is still the case.

You talking about the one in blue mountain beach? If so, I've often wondered the same thing.

There is a Nick's in Niceville across the bay from Destin.

Going to Destin next week and someone recommended it to us. I believe they said it is on the mainland side, facing the bay and east of the midtown bridge.

That's the original...been popular for decades. When the Grayton area began to grow a bit...around 20 or so years ago, they opened a second shop in the Blue Mountain area. I've had good meals there years ago...not gormet but good.
