Last time I went to Irene's for dinner, I was stuck next to someone wearing this - along with t-shirt & shorts of course.

I just don't get it...it's supposed to be an experience, so why cheapen it for yourself??

I took the gf to August earlier this month, and we loved it, I have been to most of the Brennan's family restaurants, as well as Susan Spicer's Bayona (who happened to be a friend of mi madre) and I'd put August above any. I had the oyster prepared 3 ways, which was phenomenal, and the rabbit tenderloin for a main course, the gf had the monk fish. Both were very good, Infact, if you search August on this board, I did a review right after it, that may be a bit more detailed for you. Never been to Stella! but if its anything like August you'll love it.

How is the 100 dollar tasting menu. I want to get that because there are so many choices to get and I can't choose

I really enjoyed it plus I did the wine pairing. You will end up with a pleasantly full belly and a really nice warm buzz.

If they allow you to do this, please let us know...but I don't think it's a "Customized Tasting Menu Just For You".

highly, highly doubt it...and it would be a slap in the face to the chef. The point of the tasting menu is to let the chef let him prepare what he thinks is best, and you just trust him.
