Had thought about getting the 22" with the hood for Christmas, but everywhere seemed to be sold out. Wife ended up buying me this model, with the sideburner/fryer.
For those that have them, did you buy their stand, make your own, or just use on a tabletop? I was planning on getting the other model which included a stand, but now I'm thinking of building something instead. Still have some stain from our new deck leftover, so would stain it to match the deck. Any concerns with using it on top of wood, or should I have something between the wood and the griddle to help with heat?

Have a 22”
Have been using a plastic folding table, used the picnic table the other day
Thought of buying theirs but I think building something yourself would be much nicer

Thanks. We bought an old table with benches on some trading site years ago. The tabletop was trash, but the legs and benches were in decent shape, so the wife sanded and painted those, and I built a tabletop for it out of 3/4" Red Oak plywood. Was just concerned about sitting it on there to cook on and thought a stand or something else would be better. I'll probably put it on wheels and make it to where I can fold the legs down when I'm not using it.
