Pretty sure they've found no proof that digestifs actually aid in digestion, but as far as I'm concerned that's just a convenient excuse. I like the bayou Satsuma rum. It's basically like drinking dessert after a meal. It's sweet so you can't drink too much but it's great as an after dinner drink.
