i've never had colombian food. how is it different from other latin cuisines?

what do you recommend for someone who is an adventerous eater and wants a true taste of colombia?

I wrote a review for Montana's, I can't seem to find it.

At Montana's, ask for the Paisa Plate. If you don't speak Spanish, they give you a Tex-Mex menu, which doesn't have some of the Colombian specials. Ask for a Spanish menu. Colombian cuisine isn't as spicy as that of Mexican fare, favorites include corn-based arepas.

The Paisa plate has a small grilled steak, pork cracklins, homemade Colombian sausage, corn cake, fried egg, beans, sweet fried plantains and avocado.
