low hanging fruit for me has to be FIREMAN MIKE'S CAFE AND SWEET SHOP, especially if they are doing prepackaged food.
"FIREMAN MIKE'S CAFE AND SWEET SHOP
Opened: Oct. 2
Mike Gowland, long-time Jazz Fest vendor and a retired New Orleans firefighter, cooks up a menu of creative po-boys, such as meatloaf, fried chicken with andouille gravy, and a Philly cheesesteak spin with roast beef. Traditional Louisiana dishes, like gumbo and alligator sauce piquante, are packed in 12-ounce containers for dine-in or carry out.
203 W. Harrison Ave., New Orleans, 504.681.9911
"
Also targeting THE ELYSIAN BAR and SAINT-GERMAIN soon

I went to Fireman Mike's and was pretty disappointed. Aside from the pictures of himself all over the place, the food wasn't anything special (only had the cochon de lait poboy). The place was also pretty dingy.
I will give it another chance in a few months just in case I went on an off day.

Damn, he's a good guy, sorry to hear that. I'll grab something there tomorrow and see what's up.

FWIW I know of someone who had the meatloaf poboy and really enjoyed it.
