Can see anywhere from 2 to 2.5 if you search for answer on the net. Long grain rice I use always measures out to 2 cups. I think the liquid amount is forgiving if within a certain amount….1 cup maybe either way. I always thought the adding to rolling boil liquid and let it boil for 5-6 min was more important than the exact to the drip liquid amount. BUT we are all the expert on record in our own kitchens and back yards and tailgates!!!
