I'm hitting up Austin and Houston in July so looking to cross off Underbelly and maybe something else, as well.

Underbelly made the list? I missed that one. Add that to my list. It's an outstanding restaurant. Would eat there every time I go to Houston.

I've been to a whopping one of those restaurants. I guess I'm an uncultured pleb when it comes to fine dining.

Now if it was 101 best beer bars...

well you live in Baton Rouge so it's understandable!

I'd put my list against yours sir! (does the Hoffbrau tent @ Oktoberfest count?)

I have been to all the New Orleans ones and 4 in other cities. Cochon and Commander's being in the top 20 is laughable. I am not saying they aren't great places but I would rank Stella! and August above both of those as well as the rest of the places I have been to on the list.

Not if it's in Germany!

I'm sure our lists would both be pretty respectable.

Good to know, it's on my must do list while I'm there

It takes up more than half a day though. We got there at 9:05 and there were already like 50 people in line ahead of us. We got food at 12:30.

Just ate at Yardbird Southern Table and Bar in South Beach and have to say that it was pretty badass.

GF and I split the Fried Green Tomato BLT, chicken waffles and watermelon share plate and the Mac and Cheese side.

Not normally the biggest chicken and waffles fan but their fried chicken is on another level and the waffle has just a hint of jalapeño cheese to it.
