I live in Western Terrebonne and by no means am i excited about the current situation. With the BP Oil Spill Just Dinging a year a couple of weeks ago, wouldn't the increase flow of the river plus the flow through the Morganza Spillway be a good cleaning out of the Marshes of any remaining Oil. I know it kind of sounds dumb, but it is like Mother Nature is cleaning up a mess through a Natural event.

There is not a lot of oil in the marsh. It is limitd to certain spots.
The fresh water will not help the recovery of the oysters from the fresh water the state diverted in there last year.
