Is anybody concerned in the River Parishes

Passed on the spillway bridge this morning and that shite looks close to the top of the guide levees. Maybe i am just not used to seeing it this high.

not from the spillway. Otherwise, River Parishes have the same levee breach risk as everyone else

You passed on the I-10 bridge over the spillway or the US-61 bridge over the spillway? 'Cause where I-10 crosses those guide levees it's so close to where it opens into the lake anyway that I don't think it would make any difference. (I started a thread on the same subject myself a day or two ago).

Now, if the water tops the guide levees around US 61, especially on the east side, south of 61, that would probably be pretty bad. I would think they were monitoring that though and would close some bays before that happened.

that water is VERY close to the top of the levee on CC Road and on the other side...I posted some pics on here showing it...but you can also go to Google Maps and see it ... they updated google maps street view within the last couple of days
