How far would the water reach......

down gardere? Would it actually be able to reach burbank? Is that even possible?

If those levees fail completely, yes, yes it would.

you mean as in a full breach in the levee?

Well, that is the only way any water is getting to the other side in that area anyway, so yea.

I live in between highland and burbank, so i'm curious to know what I should be looking out for

If the levees fail in the SBR area, ~20 of water at that point.

That is not anticipated though. I wouldn't sweat it.

But yeah, anything west of Highland is basically fricked if the levees go.

I'm right there too and am not looking forward to the days leading up to the crest. The wife and I will have a bag of necessities in the truck waiting for us in case the worst happens.

I remember in the 90's when that area had 5ft of water from that canal(nothing to do with Miss River). I had a friend jetskiing out there. I imagine if something happened water would be above most rooftops there.
