Governor Jindal's presser starting momentarily

Expecting Spillway to open tomorrow.
Morganza roadway will close tomorrow from 4-8 hours once they make the decision to open. Planning on closing the road at 10am (tenative). State Police will be there tonight and tomorrow to keep people from stopping on the road.
GOSEP, Guard, local SO's are going around notifying people as well as making automated calls to people in effected areas.
HESCO baskets in Vidalia seem to be working well. Seepage is being pumped out, so no damage has been done to structures there under the bridge.
River broke through the old levee today at Lake Providence as the Gov and ACOE folks were flying over. Current levee should hold.

Morganza authorized to be opened within 24 hours.
Hwy 1 will be closed for 4-8 hours while they moniter the opening.
There will be a presser at Spillway tomorrow morning.
