Looks like Formosa put some sandbags down where monte sano bayou ties in to the MS

It was a little more than what the write-up said. Ships antenna can and will be dropped while passing under bridges in high water(Its done all the time)...



Like I said, they know the clearance way before they get that far up the river.

Turns out that wasn't headed for Exxon. Bloomberg had to print a retraction yesterday. Bad info from the Riverboat Pirates-they must be buying gasoline futures. Guess that $400K/year isn't enough for them to make it anymore...

Any update on the status of the refinery. I used that elevation map from LSU AG and if it is accurate, all that area down by the river will be under 5 or 6 feet of water at 45 feet which is what I understand the crest will be on may 22 IF they open the Morganza.

They have mooring points(Dolphins) all along the river. That said, some have moved into the inter-coastal canal and west of BTR.
