From the press conference yesterday, they have plans to open up to ~1/4 of the bays at the peak based on available data. They don't expect to have to open more, but will if they need to.

Re: Hole in sink. Try turning both your hot water tap and your cold water tap on to the fullest extent and see if the hole in the sink can drain it quicker than it fills up and runs all over the floor and out the door.
