Anybody heard anything about them closing I20 at Vicksburg.

saw some pictures today and the water is pretty close to coming over the road when you come off the bridge.

She could cross in Natchez and go thru ferriday to sicily island then up thru wisner and winnsboro to rayville which is probably the best way to go anyway

Not happening. She is safe crossing at Natchez. I20 is not closing

I was just mentioning the route that she could take but if she does go I20 stop at the first exit there at the world and get a steak. I love that place

Don't know about I-20, but 61 north of Viksburg was closed yesterday, and 61 south is soon to follow -- the water is lapping at the roadside.

As far as I know it isn't closed. Although, I would take the route the other poster mentioned. It is a lot of extra driving if you go to Vicksburg to find out it is closed.

61S out of Vicksburg is closed at the Big Black River as of yesterday evening.

It will go over the levee before it goes over that road but I guess if it does that it will be over the interstate. I guess a picture of the levee would be a better barometer

I-20 west of vicksburg is outside the levee, doubt it is closed
