There is a solid black(silhouette) vector image version of this pic, holding his arms out. Does anyone have this saved recall who it was?
My flag football team wouldn't go for Purple and Gold colors, as some of them are AU and UF fans, so I'm going to subliminally print this LSU image onto the jerseys
It's basically this one... just in black and no lettering:

It wasn't me, but I just did this really quick. Does it work for you?

Appreciate the try.
But this is more of what I need. (So it can be printed clearly on a jersey)
We used Randy Moss last year:

I posted that before you added your picture, I'll redo it soon. I didn't know if you would want the background or not.

I just used the select by color tool, created a new layer, and painted the selection.

I think this was my first vector. Truthfully, I'm kind of embarrassed by the line work. It's sloppy to say the least.

You're welcome.
Yes, I did the original one years ago. It has not been updated, I just never posted this version. As always, I don't own the rights to the original photograph, nor am I licensed to print NCAA copyrighted logos. So please, don't use this image for profit.

Looks awesome dude. If I were into ripping off other people's work, I'd steal it and use it as my avy

This is pretty good. Did you clip in PS, then take to illustrator and do a live trace?

Thank you.
This particular image was created years ago before I had Photoshop. I think I described it somewhere in "Teach a Man to Fish" thread. But I'm currently on my phone and can't search effectively.
I used freeware exclusively then. I first masked PP7 from the background. Then I used brightness and contrast adjustments to get a monochromatic image.
I printed it. In the paper copy, I used black and white pens to draw over the image. Essentially, I decided the edges by hand.
Then I scanned the image. Converted the pdf to png. Cleaned up some of the areas using the drawing pen tool in Paint.NET.
I did this process several times.
Then I opened it with Inkscape. Did an automatic trace by edge detect. And I played with the individual nodes to fix areas I didn't like.
I was not great with vectors at the time. This could all be done inside a vector program. However, I didn't quite know how to use it effectively. I knew how I wanted the final image to appear and tried techniques until I was able to achieve the desired appearance. My method improved with time and practice.
It's been a while since I've done any vector work. Maybe I'll have time this season.
