I have no clue how you change the colors of the helmets so well. I only know how to use the brightness/contrast, hue/saturation buttons and they won't get those photo-realistic results for black/white helmets without eliminating the texture of the original gold helmet source.
Once again, yur amazing. Maybe I just need to learn how to use the other 90% of my PS program.

And I need to learn the 10% you've mastered.
A lot of it is just being REALLY careful when creating my layers so the edges don't give it away...followed by a shite-ton of trial/error and pure dumb luck. A good place to start is the "Selective Color" function under "Adjustments" in the lower half of the menu tree containing Hue/Saturation, Color Balance, etc...
