well done!
check out picnik if you don't have a lot of your own fonts... besides that, I'd ask around the board and see if anyone knows a good font pack, I haven't installed a new one in years.

I just downloaded a font from dafont.com. Now how do I get it in my list of fonts on photoshop cs2?

Open it with winrar, (if a "buy online" window message pops up, just close that small window, but keep winrar open).
Drag the ttf file directly onto your desktop.
Then open your control panel.
Find your font folder and open it, and then drag the ttf file on your desktop directly into that font folder.
The font should now appear in your CS2 font drop-down box.
If you want, you can now throw the desktop font in the garbage can.
That's the only way I know.

If you are running Vista or 7, just right click on the TTF and click Install

Anytime I download a font, winrar automatically opens, and asks if I want to open the file. I click yes, and the ttf file appears. Then I do the steps I listed above.
My laptop came with Vista. I wanted to try your much simpler way, but winRAR automatically takes over, and afterwards there is no "install" option when I right click once in winRAR. Just a bunch of "add file to archives", "repair archives, "rename", etc.......no "install".

Yeah. You can't install a font out of a zip file.

I think winRAR is just showing you the contents of the archive, not extracting the archive.
If you drag the ttf onto your desktop out of the archive content list, then you should be able to right-click and install off the extracted ttf on your desktop.

This one took a few more minutes than usual...

I've played this game on other forums but never with the actual putting-together of the elements

I think the band/title are cool, but the image doesn't fit well IMO.

Thank you.
I dragged a font directly onto my desktop, I right-clicked "install" and it did. Definitely saves me a couple of steps.
When my nephew was in 9th grade, he showed me how to download & intsall a font. I've been doing it his way for the past 5 years. He probably knows the simple right-click/install method now, but I'll pass it onto him just in case. More importantly, it'd be fun to finally show him a shortcut! (But I doubt it.)
