So my 4 brothers and I are taking my dad on a pheasant hunt in September. To commemorate the trip I am going to order some coozies. For one side of the coozie, I'm going to use the name and logo of the outfitter we are going with. I was able to attain a picture of the entrance gate and need help with 2 aspects:
1. Got the font knocked out. No help needed there now.
2. Is there a free program that will be able to pull the design of this logo out as a vector image? I know it can be done in photoshop, etc... but I don't have access to that anymore and I am hoping there is a free program I could use to pull out just the logo.
Thanks in advance for any assistance you can offer.
ETA: got the font knocked out. Any thoughts on the program to vectorize the metal cut-out logo?

Photoshop isn't a vector editor. Adobe Illustrator is. For a free vector program, get Inkscape. I would advise getting a better shot of that sign if at all possible. Otherwise, getting a good vector image based on the picture you posted will be very difficult and would require a great deal of manipulation after converting to a vector.

Thanks. I've asked for a straight on picture with a pure sky background but I doubt I'll get it.
In the meantime I'll check out Inkscape.

Thanks! That's perfect. I appreciate the first one the most.
