He didn't do mine...I ended up making it myself. I think this is the thread you were thinking of. He just blew my avatar up and posted it in there and said it would be a cool helmet sticker. I had already made it previously.

Ooops...sorry. I figured he did it since you were asking for something of the kind. Never realized that you had it before.

um, is it in that thread I linked you to? Why would he post that there just out of the blue? I never said I was a doctor or anything on there anywhere. I'm not trying to be a dick or steal anybody's glory, but I really did just fill in the color areas on it...I'm sure NC Tigah would have done a much better job than I did on it!

It's cool. My fark skills are nowhere near those of NC Tigah or LSUFreek or any of you guys that are regulars on this board. Trust me, I have no problem giving props where props are due!

Cool then.

On a sad note my guy can't get the decals made. His decalprinter is messed up from the storm. You can wait a few weeks or you can find a place to do it for you.

From what I can tell I think this is the best I can do.

Those look great. I'll see what they say at this place up here and let you know if they can get it done or if I wanna wait on your guy. I appreciate the help! BTW, anybody know where I could find one of the LA state flag?

I haven't forgotten about you.... Was having trouble working the crystal footballs in "cleanly" I guess you could say - with the antiqued/wallpaper background designs... Stadium is no problem.. Screen name font I chose is cool...

Do you have an opinion on the "Mike the Tiger" bronze statue? I've got a few ideas with that and an antique-ish background with the stadium blended in kinda sepia-tone and classy...

EDIT: I may be able to work the crystal footballs into that background as well - but it would be more for pattern (but an easy to recognize one for those in the know....)

If this isn't setting off any bells for you, let me know and I'll take it closer to your original direction...

That would be cool. After seeing some of your stuff, I have total confidence in whatever you come up with. I just appreciate you taking the time to do it for me!

Hey Orphan, I was wondering if you would mind if I used that tiger or if you had another one like it I could use for a t-shirt design for my tailgate. Our tailgate name is "Geaux With The Fleaux" and that would be perfect. I'm kinda thinking about doing that tiger in an inner tube on the MS River, maybe see the edge of the new bridge over the left side, and see Tiger Stadium off in the distance on the other side...let me know if you would mind and what you think of the idea.

I really like everything you've said so far. I have complete confidence that whatever you come up with will look amazing. I had never even thought of the bronze tiger statues before. That really is a great idea. Can't wait to see how it turns out.

I think they were $135 each plus $23 shipping each if I'm not mistaken. This is the LINK where I bought them. They are the "game used/reconditioned" ones. They've also got new replicas and such on the menus to the left. Also, you can pick the style facemask you want installed on them. Be warned though, I ordered them on August 11 and just got them on Sept. 10, so shipping takes a while. I'm really happy with how they came out though.

Nice helmets! Where did you get them and how much did you spend on them?
