Is Imgur still a usable hosting site?

I use it all the time, but after you upload, you need to right-click and select "open image in new tab." Then copy the image address. The address you paste here has to end in .jpg or .png, or something. If you just paste the address of the preview page, then nothing will show up here.
I can't figure out how to get giphy or tenor gifs to show up here, but Imgur works as long as I copy the actual image address.
