but could I get Frank Beamer's face put on the guy on the left and Butch Davis face on the guy on the right. Both coaches wearing cowboy hats. Also the player behind the bar would need a UNC uniform. If it's too much trouble I'll understand. Just thought it up...we're in a recruiting war with the tarheels over a certain recruit.

I'm not trying to be a jerk with what I’m going to say to you...I know you've mentioned in the past you know nothing about farking. However, considering how many times you ask for something to be done for you, it seems reasonable for me to ask you to consider learning how to do some of what you ask for here.

Once you learn how to create a fark, I believe you’ll enjoy this board considerably more. You would be able to make contributions to this board instead of asking for things to be done for you. I'm saying this, not to upset you, but to encourage you to become a regular contributor on this board. We always need more farkers here. I know you enjoy the Fark Board. I’d like to see some of your work since your requests prove you have a good imagination for farking. Give it a shot and don't be afraid to ask us for advice and technique tips. I know you'll be good at doing this and challenge you to start learning the ropes of what we do. I will be more than happy to respond to any questions you post here that will help you learn how to do this.

Start here: Helpful informaiton about farking

You are correct. I should not bother you folks if I'm not interested in venturing into making my on stuff. I have downloaded Gimp, I have downloaded Paintnet...I just cannot for the life of me get the mechanics down nor do I fully understand how to navigate or manipulate properly to get the desired effect.

No hard feelings...I won't be a bother any more. I sincerely thank everyone for be tolerant of this 57 yr. old who still thinks like a college kid at times. Merry Christmas to you all.

Hey, you're not as old as you think you are. I'm 54. If I can do this, I know you can too. I'd really like to see you hang with us and start. I don't think anyone will mind answering your questions to help you. Come on...give it a try.

Excellent! So now what you have to do is create something...anything...and put it out here by next Sunday. I've never worked with Gimp but several people on here use it. I believe you can also find some tutorials on Youtube to help you.

Remember...Submit your first fark to us by next Sunday.

Hey, how about this. here's my e-mail gkj1953@frontiernet.net

I just don't want to take too much space here with discussion. I downloaded Gimp again and my PC said it would be harmful to continue.
I will try the paintnet thingy.
thanks guys.

I learned my GIMP moves form YouTube "Gimp Tutorials" start with something easy. Watch the video then practice. Refer back to video then practice. After you learn the basics it gets easier.

Then instead of asking for help you will be posting farks!

GIMP won't harm your computer. I would consider it a "trusted" download (I am an IT professional if that makes you feel any better about it). Try installing it from here. Once you've got that, your tutorials await.

Good luck! I hope to see something by Sunday- you always have great ideas. I actually look forward to reading/viewing threads started by you.

Paint.net is much more intuitive than GIMP. It isn't as powerful but it certainly is easier to learn.

If I can help with anything, please don't hesitate to ask.

I will definitely be checking out this thread as I'm going to start trying my own stuff as well. I'll probably have some questions along the way I'm sure.

That's a great idea! What you've created is excellent and very well written. This should help many beginners in getting comfortable with learning how to fark. This would probably be a good thread to sticky at the top of this forum
