How to convert gif to jpeg

How would i do this on a mac? Any free software i can download? (looked on google and couldnt find anything)

Almost any image editing software will do it. Just open the GIF and use "save as". Then Choose JPEG.
If you don't have the software for some reason. iPhoto may open it as a GIF. Then you could save as JPEG.
If not,
then open the Gif. Do a screen capture. Save it. Open in iPhoto. Crop it and then save as JPEG
