You used a pre-existing gif. Your own gif, but still a previously-made previously-saved gif.

For some reason, in Adobe's Image Ready (or maybe Fireworks), adding images onto already-made gifs won't retain the color of the new layers added. Not sure if you use Image Ready or Fireworks, but that's what used to happen to me when I tried to save added-on gifs in CS2.

The only way around it is:

1. Open your previously made gif in Image ready or Fireworks and import all those frames into Photoshop.
2. In Photoshop, Copy the first frame of the pre-existing gif.
3. Open a "new" canvas under the FILE tab, and paste the copied frame on the new canvas.
4. Copy the next frame of the pre-existing gif and continue pasting them onto your new canvas until all of the frames from the pre-existing gif are on the newly opened canvas.
5. Now in your animation station, just turn all those pasted "frame" layers into actual new frames.
6. You can now add Tebow and a crystal ball to the new frames and you won't lose any color when you save it.
