looks great, but is it the appropriate size for an avatar?

The cropped, resized image up there is 150 x 117. Your current avatar is 150 x 150.

but it is 133.5 KB (136,699 bytes)
the rules say it has to be 30 KB (30,000 bytes)
i'm confused.

Maybe the resolution is extremely high. Need to drop it to something like a 72 or something. Let me see what I can do.
See how this works:

the words are a lot clearer, but it's still 34.17 KB (34,987 bytes)
the entire picture can be a little less clear if that helps shrink the size.
i really appreciate this too.
