Anyone use Blender to do any 3D work?

Yea for free it's really impressive. I really just need something to add some 3D here and there to some videos. Blender might be more than I really need. I just grabbed Cinema 4D to see if it suits me better.

I found Blender after NotriousGOP posted his first 3D piece a while back. From what I learned it is good for creating 3D sculptures and allows you to animate them. I don't know if you can take a video and create 3D images in them but I did not get that in depth into it. It was way more complicated and time consuming for what I wanted to use it for, basically F'n off on the Fark Board. Let me know how the other program works for you, and maybe post some of your work here.
