i know the drill and that my late grandfather will probably be put in situations i never imagined, but i'm willing to deal with it if one or more of you can help.
i would really like this image cleaned up a little. it is extremely large, so it should be fairly easy to work with. i have it resized so it doesn't effect the size of the page.

First attempt at anything like this. Im sure some of the resident pros will do better but here you go.

I cleaned up a lot of the scratches and blotches
on the photo, and did some adjustments to the
Light / Contrast.
I reposted with ImageShack, and it is reduced
in size from the original, but you can
enlarge it and see what it looks like.
