Thinking of trading D Martin and getting Lynch back as compensation. Who would you rather have. Looking at the schedules, D Martin seems to have some bad matchups coming up with Carolina x 2, Seattle, and Miami (all of which are tough against the run). Not to mention the whole Glennon situation.

I know everyone typically wants to see the Rosters, but if you were trading them straight up, who would you rather be getting?

Standard League 10 team

Many people are down on Martin and I don't see why?

Two games he didn't have a good YPC this season - and that was against the two best rush defenses in the NFL statistically.

I don't really care that they have a rookie QB.

Because the Seahawks are more capable of moving the ball, therefore, more opportunities for goal line carries.

Last season, Martin produced plays of 25 yards or more 10 times.

So you are saying Martin over Lynch here?

It's not a knock on Martin. It's more about lynchs consistency rushing the ball.

How good Glennon is remains to be seen. But if he can't open the field up then that's not good for Martin.

How many were in his two mega games? Honestly, I may rather have Demarco Murray at this point (this has nothing to do with our AP proposal; Thomas and I were discussing this).

I was lazy when I said Martin had 10 plays of 25 yards or more.

He had at least 10. I just went to his ESPN game log page to see his longs in each game rushing and receiving.

For the Raiders game, it showed a rush long of 70.

And I know he had another long TD run in that game, so I didn't even include that play.

Lynch by a mile. He's in an offense with a passing threat so they can't stack the box and has a defense that can turn the ball over quick and get him more possessions to score.

I'm saying it's not Lynch by a mile like everyone in this thread seems to think...

Martin keeps getting 20+ carries a game.

Fantasy is obviously projecting players for what they will do and not what they have done.

Doesn't matter to me how good Glennon is. It's Vincent Jackson. Each team is obviously built differently than that of others and has a different philosophy; not everyone has a Cromartie and a Peterson to play Jackson one-on-one.

Ok, so here is the real trade that may go down. Thanks for the info thus far.

D Martin and M Wallace for M Lynch. The guy may have just lost J Jones for the season, so the deal may get done.

My other WR options are AJ, J Nelson, J Gordon, K Thompkins. So obviously, I'm not hurting myself by giving up Wallace, but I'd like to get more consistent out of my RB2 spot.
Also I've got J Charles, L Bell, and MJD.

So I think we would all be in agreement that this trade is mutually beneficial?

How do you have Martin, Charles, AJ Green and MJD in a standard 10 team league?

Drafted Martin 1, AJ 2, and MJD 3. Steal of the draft was R Bush in the 4th. Traded R Bush and D Richardson to get Charles after week 2 when it appeared Richardson was a solid starter and R Bush just had a huge game. The other guy had huge injury concerns at RB. Trade wasn't terrible at the time, but really bad in hindsight for the other party involved.

Ok makes sense now.

I did something very similar as I went Martin, Dez, MJD, and Bush.

I am surprised someone traded Charles so quickly.

Yeah, his RB2 and 3 were hurt. So for him, he got 2 starters for 1. Even though he gave away the best player in the trade, he felt that he could at least be consistent in both spots. Don't think I would have done it, but I'm glad he did .

Sad thing is that with my lineup, I still only manage to be 3-2. AJ not producing and Martin just ok. We have 7 out of 10 teams that are 3-2 at the moment.

The guy who I traded with is now 0-5
