Week 18 Holdouts / Unsung Heroes (Sleepers)

Some teams have already secured their playoff position. The Ravens and 49ers have clinched the top seed, is it a given that the starters (Stars) will be shut down?

Who do you think will be some Week 18 Unsung Heroes (Sleepers) that will carry your team to victory?

Which players will jeopardize the game outcome if they are held out?

Yeah in the same boat with McCaffrey. Hopefully I can plug someone in his place that can at least get me double digits.

Well, first, you can rule out at least the players from these teams having heavy roles in Wk 18 currently:

Ravens (Big snow?)
49ers
Rams

So, the "Unsung Heroes (Sleepers)" would need to come from teams that need the win. Lots of permutations here.

Some thoughts:

1. Jags should have Lawrence back this week. Titans pass defense sucks. I think they can take care of the game handily. Beat the Titans, and they win the AFC South. Plenty of motivation. A trap might be Evans as the Titans are pretty good against TEs. I'd target Etienne, who's looking for back-to-back 1,000-yard rushing seasons and is becoming more involved in the passing game.

2. Bills. Miami-Buffalo game is going to be intense. Bills can win the AFC East for the fourth consecutive season with a win in Miami. I'd target Allen and Cooks.

3. Steelers. Baltimore/Pittsburgh is a huge game especially since Pittsburgh is in a must win situation. Pickens has come on of late. Don't see them running on Baltimore even with the Ravens probably sitting their key players.

4. Seahawks. Do or die. Seattle needs a win, and they need the Packers to lose. Fortunately, they play the Cardinals. Target Geno and DK.

5. Cowboys. Don't know how much Lamb and Dak would be considered "Sleepers" this week, but they're the obvious stack of the week against the Commanders.

Thanks .... Guess I'll have to go rethink my Rams starters as options. Puka, Kyren, Kupp

FYI, Puka needs like 29 yards to break a rookie receiving record.

Teams that really need the W: DAL, SEA, GB, TB, NO, ATL, MIN. I'd target players from those teams.

Positions:

QBs: Allen, Dak, Hurts, Fields, Stroud, Love
RBs: Connor, Z. White
WR: Collins, Pittman, Lamb, Moore, DK, maybe Ridley (is Kirk coming back?)
TE: McBride
