Going big on P. Bold strategy Cotton.

If you can stay in the hunt, trading one for MI upgrade can make it a playoff team

VKC

Weakest Category – Saves – He has put a lot of stock into Allen, and Strickland taking over. He might struggle, but I could see him trading with someone with 3 closers in a RP for OF swap (wink, wink)

Strongest Category – Pretty balanced. He has 4-5 guys who have the potential for 20/20 seasons

Weakest position – SS – Scary to have JRoll as your primary SS.

Strongest position – OF depth – Love the Harper/Cain combo, and he can mix and match Joc/Eaton/Choo/Soler

Best buy – Has to be Greinke. I’m not high on him this year, but 24 is a lot less than other comparable SP.

Hats

Weakest Category – RBI’s – You have a lot of speed, which will hurt you in the RBI category. Bryant should help, as will a “healthy” Cargo.

Strongest Category – QS – I don’t know if I like any other pitching staff as much as I like this one. Sale/Cole/CMart make a formidable trio. Bats will also be very tough to beat in K’s.

Weakest position – 1B – I can’t say that I like RZImm as your only 1B. He is a health risk, but is definitely serviceable if healthy.

Strongest position – SP – Like I said before, I really like your trio of Sale/Cole/CMart.

Best buy – CMart - $11 for CMart is a steal IMO. Kicking myself for not going the extra dollar for him. Cargo for 24 is also very good.

Honk, big fan of your first 5 grabs. Even like many of your cheaper options like Schoop, d'Arnaud and Ozuna. I just can't get on board with not spending your money and ending up with Colome for $18.

Really hurts when Cueto went for $15.

Express

Weakest Category – SB – There is a lot of stock in Gomez hitting like he did two years ago. I want to “like” Gomez, but I just don’t know if he will adjust to his old form.

Strongest Category – HR – You have a lot of 20+ HR power on this team. Your biggest issue will be health.

Weakest position – SS – I like Tulo a lot, but this guy just cannot stay healthy. Who plays SS for you when he gets hurt? And he will get hurt.

Strongest position – SP – I like the depth of SP. No true “stud” pitcher, but a lot of good ones. Thor proved to be VERY good, Ross is always steady, Shields can rebound, Matz is a good young talent, and I am a BIG believer is Iglesias.

Best buy – Matz - $6 – I would say Dickerson, but I have zero faith in him. Matz is a very good pitcher, and 6 bucks is a very good price.

MWG

Weakest Category – Saves – He will have to be thrifty on the WW or he will end at the bottom in saves.

Strongest Category – Good Balance – Similar to VKC, you have a lot of hitters who could be 20/20 players. Nice power too.

Weakest position – RP – As stated above, there is going to be work that will need to be done to gain traction in saves.

Strongest position – OF – Love the trio of Springer, Blackmon, and JMart. Springer still has plenty of upside, and JMart/Blackmon provide a lot of steady production. I also like the addition of Brantley and Myers.

Best buy – Seager – 22 dollars for a super steady 3B. Many people pay a ton for high upside guys, but Seager will get you what you need.

Weakest Category – QS– Only one guy you can rely on every start (Arrieta). Gio could bounce back.

Strongest Category – Saves – This is all about potential saves. You don’t have many sure-fire RP’s, but a lot of guys who could end up with 15+ saves. With Dee you should be strong in SB as well.

Weakest position – 1B – Justin Bour is an okay option, but I don’t know how many AB’s he will get.

Strongest position – OF – Bautista/Cutch – Drool. Bux – Vomit. You will be strong at SS with Addison and Story (you will probably move one of them)

Best buy – Story – Most know that I am pretty high on Story. Could be top 5 at SS. But let me take this opportunity to say how much I HATE Buxton for 9 dollars. AND we could have made him pay WAY more for Russell.

Weakest Category – HR – You have a lot of steady guys, but not too many that will hit more than 20 HR’s. You could struggle in this category. SB should be strong, somehow I missed BHam at first glance.

Strongest Category – QS– I personally worry about Bum, but he is very good nonetheless. Getting Lester, Salazar, Stroman, Quintana will help if Bum falls apart.

Weakest position – 2B – It is really the only spot you aren’t deep at. Not a fan of Harrison, but Castro could rebound and take over this spot.

Strongest position – Util – Your team is very deep. I like the options you have in Fielder, Gattis, and BHam. Nice plug and play options.

Best buy – Gattis/Pollock – Gattis at 5 bucks could be a steal (if he plays all year). I like Pollock at 29 A LOT. 5 category player for under 30 bucks. I paid more for Jupton

Nyj

Weakest Category – K’s? – Very hard to find weaknesses in this team.

Strongest Category – HR – Wow does this team have power. Stanton, Crush, McCann, Ortiz. May struggle with streakiness at times.

Weakest position – 2B – I like Cesar, but not for an everyday 2B. He will be good for SB’s.

Strongest position – I just personally like the depth all around this team. Andrus sucks, but you picked up Kang. Stanton could go down, but you have so many other power options. Nice balance of HR and SB’s.

Best buy – DeShields – I like DeShields as a speed option, and at 2 dollars that is pretty good value. Nyj did a good job of spreading his money all across the board.

P Mike

Weakest Category – Saves – Only one true closer. Giles, sad to say, may not even get the nod in the ninth inning.

Strongest Category – Runs – You have a lot of guys who can simply get on base. Your HR power will be good as well.

Weakest position – RP – See above.

Strongest position – 1B – Miggy/Votto is nice. Moreland is even a good third option/Util player

Best buy – Donaldson – I can’t believe Donaldson only went for 44. A lot of money, but Donaldson could have easily hit 50 dollars.

Weakest Category – Saves and OPS– Cishek and Rodney are scary, but Colome should help early on.

Strongest Category – HR – Goldy/Cruz/Sano will all crush. Sano scares me though. Schoop is good value for power at 2B. Likes the Grandy/Ozuna picks as well.

Weakest position – RP – See above.

Strongest position – OF/2B – I like the depth you have at OF. No one blows me away, but a lot of solid guys.

Best buy – Sano at 23 could end up being a steal. Could end up a bust too??

Weakest Category – HR– Just not a lot of power outside of Trout

Strongest Category – QS – Price is solid, and there a few other decent options.

Weakest position – 3B – Why do people still have faith in Lawrie? No backup either.

Strongest position – SS – I’ll be a homer and say that I love Correa. Hopefully he takes what he did last year, and keeps growing.

Best buy – Aroldis – 11 dollars for the best RP in the league. I know he is out for the start of the season, but so was Kenley last year.

Probably my least favorite team, which is weird because it has Trout and Correa on it.
