Good with 25, non-keeper, and K's... not K/9. Flexible with draft date.

Sounds good everyone. We need a few more players to join as we have 9 now.

Barry, can you specify what you are looking for, since we have a lot of frequency and not rate stats?

You mean like an innings or appearance limit?

Either an innings limit or a max player pickup limit.

Innings limit I would suggest either 1250 or 1500.

Max player pickup is good because it limits streaming hitters too, more of a catch all. 3 pickups a week would be pretty reasonable.

I was thinking of switching K to K/9. Do you think K/9 is superior and why?

It's superior because its just another tool against streaming. Its harder to stop in H2H because all you need to do is win 6 cats in H2H, with roto you can't really do that so people will be less likely to stream. There for the less "accumulating" stats the better. Only 3 avg stats is pretty rough. I think having 4, by adding k/9, would be ideal.

ETA: To sum it up my first option would be weekly player acquisition limit, its the easiest thing to prevent streaming.

I could do an innings limit. I just left it as none to see what everyone wanted.

I would dislike a max player limit because I was in a league last year that had a max on players and it was a pain in the arse. It ended up costing me the league as well.

Sometimes I feel that I may need to make more than that. Do the other TD leagues have acquisition limits?

I would much rather do 6.

So, do you want just a player acquisition cap and an innings limit as well or just the player acquisition cap?

A player acquisition cap is a good thing no matter what.

I'd like to either see an innings limit on top of that. Considering our large roster size I'd say 1500 IMO

I will do 6 per week and 1500 IP.

I was going to set an innings limit, but I had not brought it up yet.

Does anyone oppose to this rules?

I do think 6 transactions per week is a lot. Maybe meet in the middle with 5 and I'm fine with 1500 IP.

There is no weekly limit to player acquisitions on the commish tools. There is only a season total for max pickups, which seems pointless.

There is really nothing that I can do about limit player moves. I guess that is one of the drawbacks with a free site.

I can do a max number of games played at each position however.

I set an innings limit to 1500.

To the league:
Are you in favor of K or K/9? So far there is one vote for each side.

I will make you a temporary commish if you see if you can find it.

Barry, you are currently a co-commish. See if you can find anything.

I looked under "Commish tools" and "edit league settings". Maybe I missed it or it is somewhere else.

Duh, this is a roto league, there are no weeks like in H2H. Id just extrapolate x amount of transactions per week for the season limit and maybe back it off a few.

75-100 maybe

100 transaction limit? I am good with that. I could never imagine needing that many. I could make it less if anyone feels the need.

Also, I found the page to edit our draft budget. The standard draft budget is $260. Anyone object?

Yahoo offers 30, 45, or 60 seconds to nominate a player. I did 30. Anymore is just wasting time.

As far as time to bid on a player goes, there is 10, 20, or 30 seconds to bid on a player. What does everything is optimal? 10 may be a little quick where you do not have enough, but 30 is probably unnecssary. I would go for 10 or 20. Any opinions on this?

75 would probably be good, we only had one person go over or come close and that was Honkus cause he add/drops like a mad man.

10 seconds honestly is probably good enough cause people are going to wait till time is almost running out and then bid, auction drafts take long enough just for football.

If you average 30 seconds per player its still gonna be 2.5 hours

75 and 10 it is.

I think I average around 55-60 moves a year, so yeah, I would assume that only Honkus and TBM try to exceed the number of moves.

If draft time is that much longer in an auction, can we make the draft 9ish? Have to put the kids to sleep.
