True Confessions: The Perils Of Waiver Wire Selection...

while you're multitasking at work and using your phone.
The one league I really care about. Been on the site since 2004. Blessed this year to be 5-0 and prospects of going to that final Champion's League in the Sky on the site (you advance up the league tiers as you win, or they drop you a tier if you are in the bottom 2).
Anyway, there I am. Needing a new D. Thought I was removing Titans for Cincinnati. But no, I removed Devonta Smith. You know, S comes before T.
Damn. Hadn't started him but once this year as the other WRs are higher ranked, but his workload's been increasing. Maybe a Top 25 WR ROY. And he has a bye in W7. Picked up Alec Pierce to replace him on the bench. Possible PPR Monster in the Wes Welker vein.
Maybe no one will pick him up next week while he's on bye.
Let this tale of woe be a lesson. I'll own the mistake, but damn that was dumb. Could happen to you. Pays to pay attention. Always!

I could have, but I did several pick ups, as did others. Would be hard for him to unravel, and it's actually kind of embarrassing! I'll take my whuppin' like a man.
