I'm shocked he accepted the trade...
I traded:
Nolan Arenado(minors)
Matt Reynolds($1 2014 option to extend)
Jordan Pacheco($1 2014 option to extend)
Scott Diamond(contract ends 2013)
Josh Beckett ($8 2014 option to extend)
I received:
Paul Goldschmidt(contract ends 2013)
Felix Hernandez ($43 2014)
Gio Gonzalez(contract ends 2013
Chris Perez(contract ends 2013)
Garin Cecchini(minors)
16 team Auction keeper contract league(with minors draft)
He was a 2nd place team who basically tanked his season for Arenado...
I'm a 7th place team with notables on my roster
Braun, Longoria, Ryan Zimmerman, Marte, and Zeinke... SP's were my main weakness.

I thought that was a possibility and wouldn't blame him if he did but pushed it through.
The thing is I'm stuck with Hernandez at $43 for 2014 which is the main draw back of the trade and I lose Goldy, Gio, and Perez at the end of the year.
But it really doesn't make much sense for a 2nd place team to accept the trade when you consider its a $150 league and 4th place gets $300...
