Ok, I'm trying to follow you. It doesn't recognize if points were added to your total? I can see that. I just can't see that ESPN would totally ignore all your legitimate points.

I would not think so either. But I can''t see the algorithm they are using. All I know is based on any plausible scoring system, as well as what is posted, Vanilla Ice is in if the rightful week 7 result is applied. The only thing I can hypothesize(certainly am not convinced) is that on week 7, the commissioner added 17 points to Vanilla Ice instead of deducting 17 from Team Fear. So Vanilla went from 529 to 546. PERHAPS ESPN recognized that 546 was a manual input, so rather than counting it as a 529 like they should, they simply disregarded it. So Vanilla received 0 points(but a win) for week 7 since there were 0 non-tampered with points. In that case, OG would beat Vanilla on points.

In all honesty, I think they switched to head to head once they eliminated the 3 way tie.

Why? At no point did they say they would do that. And they explicitly said manual changes would not be considered in the automatic playoff seeding formula.

Oh yeh, absolutely. But its no reach to say that Vanillas week 7 manual adjustment was not correctly counted. It specifically states it wouldnt be counted. So the automatic seeding is clearly flawed and void since manual adjustments WERE made. And based on the rules, Vanilla is definitely in. So what ESPN automatically seeded should be disregarded since it doesn't account for the manual adjustments that reflect the correct results. And with their seedings disregarded, there is no way Vanilla is out. There's just no scenario.
