No one said they can't manage their own teams.
And no Pandoras box wasn't opened, its clear as day if you examine giving up 2 players that are barely top 50 for a top 3 player.
If it was a keeper/dynasty league it might be different as throwing in picks would certainly help as would other factors.

This is what vetos do. That is why in the football league, any trade is allowed no matter what players are involved as long as no collusion.

Since I can't win this year I'm implementing option B. Destroy the league from the inside

You can't compare top 50 players. You have to look at it by position.
Hell, Brook Lopez and Chris Paul average the same amount of points. Are you saying that is a fair trade straight up? PF/C score more than PG/SG. Fear needs SGs and he gets 2 and both are dual position players.
Fair trade? No. Doesn't matter though and yall's reasoning is flawed.

Who's winning this one?

You are beating me AND have 5 fewer starts. Team TTT in full tank mode

Damn, just catching up on this. Seems like I would've been consulted before the veto came down. Don't think it's a particularly good trade but I know damn well it's not collusion because of the guys involved. shite, I feel like I know Fear personally, been playing together for 4-5 years.
I gave Lobos LM access but feel that we should act as co-commish and a veto should be agreed upon by both of us.
If you guys agree, I will approve the trade if it is agreed upon again.

After taking some time to think I am very frustrated about today.
On one hand the trade wasn't fair and in most leagues WOULD likely be vetoed if left up to a league vote or something similar. It's far more likely to greatly benefit none than it is fear. I do not feel it is a good trade for numerous reasons(player history/league impact etc). If this was a keeper/dynasty and none threw in numerous picks and maybe another young player than yes the scale would greatly be tipped.
Durant should command a kings ransom as he is one of very few players who can singlehandily win you a week. It is much more likely that KD+an average 11-12 ppg player will greatly outscore the barton/CJ player if the parties were to play a 4 game week.
Positions should not matter as much in this league as in others and starting only 6 is too low compared to most leagues where around 9 is the standard. But that's another discussion for another day.
I did not like VI/Buga coming in here causing a shitstorm then running to PT to badmouth the league and cqq(wich is not fair) and that really frustrated me as well(and some of you for sure)
I could have handled things better and I want this league to stay strong. None is upset and I don't want as solid an owner as him to be angry.
I hope y'all understand where I'm coming from.

I definitely know Fear personally....not really...but would vouch for him
...I'd place a large bet that he's not the colluding type. We all would. And unless u really believe there was collusion, which there wasn't, trade should go through. Make it happen Commish. Vetoes are bullshite.

I totally understand. I agree with you too, it's just my stance on vetoing is to only use it when there's clear collusion. I don't like the trade but I can't veto when I know both guys are good dudes.
Posted on 1/7/16 at 10:37 pm to LosLobos111
Los, I love u, but don't be a pussy....none will survive...he's being a bitch kinda, frankly
Posted on 1/7/16 at 10:39 pm to drake20
Both are not that type and we know that

That's what i thought this leagues policy was.
Posted on 1/7/16 at 11:18 pm to Nonetheless
It is in Pels Talk Football. Haven't officially seen it said in bball but I thought it was understood.
As much as I hate seeing the 2nd place guy get Durant, it has to be done to avoid future issues.

If Fear hasn't been scared off, propose it back to him. If agreed upon, I'll approve it immediately.

Proposed it to him. His call I guess

Btw fear, i hope you still agree to it. But i wont be upset if you decide to backout after all of this.
