Obviously he's not going to bat .376 all season..so solid prediction he will have a down swing.
Posted on 5/5/10 at 3:23 pm to Toula
Right, and I think that downswing will be quite dramatic. He'll probably end up a good .100 points lower, which you would expect from a guy whose BABIP is .524.

i don't know you or him
i just know that he made all the right moves last year, and he ownd a bunch of people in trades..also he uses actual statistics and logic when he talks about players..

I am confident he wouldnt wtfpwn me in any trades
Posted on 5/5/10 at 3:43 pm to chowds4

That is generally frowned upon in these circles

i agree with that...i could never see you making a trade that wouldnt hurt the other team you are trading with..every trade offer ive seen from you has a little hint of fleece attached to it..

I havent mentioned Austin Jackson in a post to this point.
I think the orignal post was alluding to the fact that he's a rookie that was not highly sought after.
So anything he does that better than a Ryan Church type player is a pleasant surpise.

I have made plenty of mutually beneficial trades.
I figured you in a position of weakness and I didnt have any real needs at the time so I figured I'd throw some shite against the wall and see if it stuck.

i totally understand that...i just find it offensive when someone blatantly tries to work me like that(although you know nothing about what i know, or how i play, or how experienced i am)...i know it was a dumb move not to read the rules, etc., but i still think there is a good chance i will recover and finish top 3...i have some skilllzzz in this fantasy shite, you will see...

He had an ADP of 177 so he was drafted in most drafts. He went in the 15th round of my keeper league draft. Again the mistake here with Austin Jackson is not to at least try to sell high right now. I would assume that most fantasy players would know that he's playing way over his head, but you can at least try to score someone who is dramatically underachieving before Austin Jackson becomes bench fodder.

so much sarcasm...
do you honestly think i dont have a top 5 team, as far as odds to win this year? i don't like my team as far as futures/keepers go, but for this year, i have as good a shot or better as any of the other teams..
*sn-i do need rollins to come back at some point
-go look at redman's assesment of the league...i remember him saying my team is a playoff team with a chance to win it all, if i make the right moves..i also remember him saying he would take a shite on my outfield...but that was before marlon byrd and alex rios started performing so well..just like i thought they would in new surroundings/with something to prove..
i thought it was pretty sick that m. byrd was only owned by 7% of sportsline leagues on opening day..he has batted 5th, 4th, and sometimes 2nd on an everyday basis, just like i expected..dude was way under-rated coming in..

I doubt that happens.
All the guy said was that Jackson was a steal.
To get someone late and the draft that outproduces hundreds of other guys is exactly that...a steal.
You had to jump in here and act liek to this point he hasnt been a steal to try and show off your awesome fantasy baseball knowledge.
It came across very douchey.
