Yo Vermy, you want to give a quick evaluation of our draft? Any outside perspective you're willing to give would be cool. Thanks.

Keep in mind it's a superflex, full PPR, 1.5 TE PPR, starting lineup: 1qb, 2rb, 2wr, 1 te, 1SF, 1FL.

I’ll just do it post by post since I don’t think I’ll be able to scan through this in 1 sitting.

Peazey asked, so I’ll review his 1st.

1. Nabbed the top QB (Mahomes) and another top 4 QB (Rodgers) to slot in his SF. He’ll have an absolute point advantage at those two positions when it matters. I really like this approach, considering you were able to grab some respectable RBs.

2. Guice and Chubb were huge for you. Yeah, it’s nice to go WR for the longevity, but I think you made the wise move here. The RB drop off would have been hard to overcome (Moreso than the WR drop off). You also grabbed Henderson who I took at 1.10 in my other league (rookie draft). Latavious Murray gives you really, really great depth for a team who went QB/QB to start.

3. WR is going to be tough, but I don’t think Hill gets slapped too hard. Moore is promising, but I think Samuel is the better WR in CAR. Pettis and Valdez-Scantling are great grabs, but I feel like Allison later on would have been a better immediate boost for you.

4. And now we are at TE and it’s a TE Premium league. You have two outstanding talents, but I am unsure of their situations. Detroit did the “draft a TE high and not utilize him” approach already.. and Stafford will pepper Kenny G and Jones. Not to mention they are moving to a run approach

You have an outstanding foundation with quite a few sure things. I’ll grade it out later when I do the rest

David Moore, Deon Cain, and Matt Stanford are solid depth guys

Okay

Matt Ryan is a really underappreciated dynasty asset, especially in SF. I may be remembering this wrong, but hes the top QB in fantasy over the past 4 years. I am not in love with Dak, though. I would have preferred a Cam Newton or Drew Brees there.. but I work in 3 year dynasty windows.

Josh Allen is also a much better fantasy QB than NFL QB based off of last year.. but things could change.

Man, you managed to secure 2 of the top 4 WRs in the dynasty at the 12 and 13 spot. Major props there and I see it paying off for you big time. You also managed to get Marvin JOnes REALLY late, who was a top 12 WR in 2017 and (when extrapolated over a 16 game season) would have been a top 12 WR in 2018. That sort of saved your WR group if you ask me. I'm not a fan of James Washington or Michael Gallup..

Freeman, Michel, and Carson are really nice value grabs there. You'll never have the clear cut advantage at the RB position, but as everyone knows, having RB depth in the playoffs is big!

In a TE Premium league, having Howard and Ebron is awesome. I really like your team a lot. It seems really balanced at this point, but I've only looked at you and Peazey's team.

Good top of the draft. Not a fan of the bottom of your draft, but thats a crap shoot

..

Your QBs are dreadful and you only took 2. In a 12 team league, you're going to be at a positional disadvantage in 2/8 starting positions every single week.

Kittle in the 2nd in a TE premium league is a solid grab there. I believe he would have been a top 12 WR in TE premium last season, so major props there.

At first my thought was "why the hell did he pass on Gordon or Gurley here).. but you rebounded at RB pretty nicely I would say. Marlon Mack, Philip Lindsey/Freeman, and Kareem Hunt.. pretty solid grabs there. You have RB depth, but 3 of the 4 are unknown at this point. Your best bet is one of Lindsay/Freeman to take the job outright. Hunt will be fine for you longterm, but not this year IMO.

Michael Thomas, Adam Thielen, Cooper Kupp.. That's a damn good top 3 at WR. You'll have positional advantages at those 3 (plus Kittle and Te) most weeks. 4/8 isn't bad to have a positional advantage most weeks.

Your team isn't bad and it has some solid foundation pieces. I am not a fan of your approach in a SF, though. It seems like you had many chances to change your approach and you just didn't.

I'd be trading for as many 2021 picks as possible with Trevor Lawrence coming out of Clemson

After my first choices at QB were gone I took the approach to make sure my WR, RB, and TE positions were solid for this year and future years. I’ll have to hope for a QB in the rookie draft that can produce like mahommes did or trade for one.

I agree about this year but I believe next year or the next I’ll be in decent position especially if some of my teachs pan out then I can trade
