I don't know if they changed it, but ESPN used to only have 2 options: 1. they set the draft order 1 hour before the draft or 2) the commissioner can set it manually. They had no option to click "randomize draft order" whenever you want. Yet another reason not to use ESPN imho.
Been a while since I ran a league on ESPN (Sleeper convert), so they may have changed that.

You can always use a randomized app to get random order then it can be set manually

ESPN now has a randomized button as well that will allow the commish to get the order right away.

Since none of us know each other IRL, I prefer to let ESPN do the draft order 60 minutes before draft time.

That’s a good question. I think it is only 8 so far. I’ll probably join a couple of guillotine leagues after the season starts because you can just do those with # of teams = # of remaining weeks and the guillotine league website has drafts starting all the time.
Speaking of which, I really miss the TD guillotine league. We need to get that going again.

Stupak said a few posts back that ESPN now has a button to randomize whenever you want.
