explain
so it's up to you how many keepers you keep, but for everyone you keep you lose your 1st round, 2nd round, 3rd round, etc.?

I am suggesting straight keeper ATM, Hubs is arguing like what if he uncovers a sleeper you know like a sproles.

Then I'll agree with you 31
Set number of keepers and a regular draft with the last place picking first is the best way to go IMO
Shouldn't be penalized or rewarded for whether or not you find a keeper in the later rounds. Your reward will be having an opportunity to have more than 3 potential keepers and setting yourself up to make some beneficial trades heading into next year's draft

hell yeah you are
then you also get to trade one of those players you drafted in the first 3 rounds for an extra draft pick
that's where the reward comes in

This is the way to go. Everyone has to keep 3 guys and the draft basically starts in round 4.

Hey tchamp2, nice night last night. I think you got the best of me after one day since my score includes my kicker. But I still think it could go either way because we both potentially have a lot of points left to be had. You may be having nightmares of Welker and Hernandez after what they do to you Monday night though!

I thought most keeper leagues you can keep the guy for the exchange of what round you got him in?
Granted, I have no idea what you would do in year 2...

Some do that, but I'm not a fan

Different leagues do this different ways. One option is that it your pick progressively gets one or two rounds more expensive each year you keep a guy. So after the first year, your 5th round pick can be kept for a 5th round pick the next year. The year after, it would cost you a 4th or 3rd depending on how you set it up.

I like that a lot.
And you arent forced to keep anybody.
Why wouldn't we do this?

You are welcome for this Hull.
I hope Mario does what I expect him to so I don't feel bad about getting rid of Jimmy and all that swagger. Looks like a good move though because I may be without Colston(if he is injured as bad as it looked) and will need Mario to step in.

I've Jimmy G in 2 other leagues and truly believe he is going to turn into a tier 1 TE this season. Dude is a freak. If Brees had looked for him more last night, the Saints might have won the dang thing.
