Ther was no interp of the rule that allowed your move. But what's done is done. Rondo proposed elimination, people voted and now: clusterfrick.

how fricked up is this? can everyone email me the players they had on IR and i'll re-add them. if this doesnt fix things i'll get sportsline involved.

yes but the rule will remain that IR can't be used (even though the option is there).

If you're going to add back the spot, but no allow us to use it then why would you need to add back the IR players we had to drop? We'd have to drop them or someone else anyway since adding the IR player back would give us too many bench players.

allow the owners to then drop who they choose to make their rosters legal....not necessarily drop the injured player.

The rule said the player had to be listed as out. It's as clear as a bell. Interpreted incorrectly as you propose would allow me to put a player on ir, pick up key waiver players and drop them just prior to game time robbing someone of a needed pickup by gaming the system. The rule as written was clear and simple. Now we have this mess.

Fair enough. When I saw we had to drop the ir player I emailed Ryan and had him drop m Lewis instead. Ridiculous to force drop the ir player when the rule changed.

It said that any player on IR has to be in street clothes on game day.

You are mistaken. Look at the rule as changed by my proposal which was approved via vote.
