I just noticed the defensive scoring is fricked up. This needs to be changed immediately.

7.40 Arizona Cardinals ARI D/ST
SDG 17 FINAL
ARI 18
2 FGs (22,44), 42 tackles, 4 assists, 5 passes defensed, 1 INT, 1 FF

Arizona Cardinals 44 yd FG (1.40 pts)

I should not be receiving this weird bonus and neither should anyone else. Can a commish look into this soon? I will try to explain it further if you need any help figuring it out.

i agree and it seems to be a league wide scoring. not sure what its ever for but looked at alums last week since it was closest to me missing the cut and:

quote:

Cincinnati Bengals Def/ST CIN @ BAL Sep 7 1:00pm 4 - Starter 15.30 49 yd FG (1.90 pts)
46 yd FG (1.60 pts)
38 yd FG (0.80 pts)

3.0 sacks (3.00 pts)
16 total points allowed (4.00 pts)
1 interception (2.00 pts)
1 fumble recovered (2.00 pts)

It means your defense can be influenced by that team's kicker which is stupid.

For example, a guy owning the Saints or Falcons defense would have got like four extra points. (2 points apiece for a 50 yarder). The bonus is .1 for every yard beyond 30.

I don't see that rule anywhere. I have no idea why it's there. I'm looking under kicking, st and defense and don't see it. Nothing has changed since 2012 rule wise so idk what that's about.

its gotta be something screwed up with rtsports and has to do with our decimal fg scoring

quote:

Length of Successful Field Goals 1 rule defined:
For position: QBs, RBs, WRs, TEs, Ks, Def/STs
0.1 bonus point(s) each 1 additional yards in length, starting with 31 yard scores.

not sure why that would apply to the defense though

Yeah, I just saw that. I clue why that would just have started.

I changed it to kickers only. Maybe that fixes it. Weird, I don't ever recall seeing that.

That makes sense. It applied field goal bonuses to d/st and the special teams makes field goals. Thanks for fixing it. Hope it had no impact on week one.

It had no impact in Droppings since I beat CE by 5+. I received 4.3 in bonuses because of the glitch and CE received 0.5 bonus points; still giving me a 1.5 or so margin over him.

However, it did in Tiger. Honkus (#6 in Tiger scoring LW) had the Cincy D/ST as well and received the same 4.3 bonus and beat Rick (#7 in scoring LW) by less than 3.5 points. Rick had none of those bonuses and should have received the W.

Reactions..
