Honestly I still think you have a decent shot at 5th. A good shot at 6th, and a possibility of 7th or worse but that would require a few of these teams to have more than one player go beyond projection.

What other circumstance is a player going to score points for 2 different positions.
Say you have Harvin and Minny D you are gonna get 2 TDs for one play????

I think ST shouldn't be added on to the Team D and should go to individual players.
That way it doesn't count twice and you draft teams on their defense not their return game.

its the same as a TD pass
theres only 1 TD being scored. 2 people get points for it. Its no different , really. 2 entities can mutually benefit from a TD being scored. Im still not sure why everyone sees that as taboo.

FWIW...I dont care if this gets changed next year...but the drafts werent completed with this rule in place so changing it after the fact was unexceptable.

it was only really created that way to help make another position for fantasy purposes in order to make "Team DEF" relevant.
really if you are looking at them separately the player is more deserving of points than a whole unit. But someone a long time ago thought it would be smart to award defense points for that to have another position option for FFB
