Yeah, its gonna look odd for a couple of weeks.

Some teams are getting big boosts in certain categories (Rondo in saves), that makes a team look better than it really is.

In our matchup, I beat you handily in several categories (SB, QS), while you just barely beat me in a couple.

probably means you are balanced.

When he correctedthe saves cat I jumped from .3 to 2.05

So most of my "strength" comes from one cat.

One cat translates to going 1-9 against a balanced team

Axford and K-Rod ended up doing well after some shaky starts. Hopefully Ubaldo comes back soon and Bills gets it going.

I just looked into it deeper, and realized that K/9 was fricked up, too.

Sorry guys. It's week 1, and I made the new formula sheet from scratch. I'll be simply plugging in numbers from here on out, so there shouldn't be any errors in future weeks.

Here are the correct rankings:

1 CL 7.48
2 Clams 6.35
3 cwill 5.58
4 KKK 4.09
5 LE 3.28
6 Redd 3.04
7 Barry 2.84
8 Gyno 2.39
9 ISP 2.36
10 Goodfellas -0.80
11 Stove -2.72
12 Boo -4.21
13 Jew_T -4.34
14 sox -5.77
15 rmc -9.24
16 PCT -11.13

I would be in much better shape in a Roto format (i.e. I had solid production except for saves). I just happened to be playing one of the big dogs (Clams). I was close to him for a week+, but the week and a half scenario killed me as he eventually walked me down. I knew I was hurting myself in saves this year and it shows. Outside of that I need to be patient. I still predict to finish at approximately the number 12 spot. Anything else would be gravy.

Here's a breakdown of each category, and how each team is faring so far. This should give good explanation as to why a team is ranked like they are.

My decision to start Gallardo on the last day hurt me as far as the Redd rankings. I was chasing K/9 and knew I could get away with a bad start in all the other cats and a bad start with no k/9 help is what I got.

Yeah, I left a bunch of QS on the table this week, because I thought I had ERA and WHIP wrapped up. Turns out I was wrong, but I still ended up taking all three cats.

LE, does the chart look like it makes sense now? Your ranking skyrocketed once I fixed the k/9 cat.
