Rick, how do you like a Quentin/Oswalt for CC / Chris Young swap?

After reviewing my team and draft in rw3r, I have come to agree with your assessment to an extent.

shite, rick. You said that the team sucked DURING the draft, according to the chat transcript.

Well, yeah.

However, I need a 30-40 HR guy in the OF or a more serviceable SS and C than the two I got. Trying to trade off Vazquez or CC. I think I could take the loss of either of them, especially if Porcello does better than his projections and I expect him to.

I totally agree with this.

Quentin: 31st ranked overall hitter (11th ranked OF)
Oswalt: 34th ranked SP

Chris Young: 88th ranked overall hitter (42nd ranked OF)
Sabathia: 12th ranked SP

I'd do the trade, but I'm also not a big Sabathia fan, so it makes it easier for me.

Well in this league I have an abundance of HRs and a shortage of SB and could use some improvement in SP.

Sabathis is more valuable in Wins leagues than QS....and his k/9 is only around 7.5.

Thats all I can see.

What he said. Don't get me wrong, I still think he's an elite pitcher, but I just don't value him as much as most do. Plus, his arm has a better chance of falling off than King Felix, who rouge traded away for Jose Reyes. I just like typing that out. It makes me chuckle like a frickle.
