Why would you NEED an OF?

You can either have Pena bat in your util and draft some OF or have Bay bat in your outfield and draft some util.

its 6 of one really....especially considering you dont draft until the draft is basically over.

Bay-22 overall, 6th best OF
Pena-17 overall, 8th best 1B

I can see why rick won't do it skr8 up.

pena is better overall in this format when u crunch the numbers in the end, IMO

but his inconsistency fricking sucks. he's way to hot and cold

i'd rather Bay over the course of a season

Why give up a top 6 OF for a top 8 1B?

Pena is only marginally better than Bay, if at all. You can't take cbs's projected numbers and consider them concrete. As much as you'd like to do that, it's dumb. The rankings are more of a guide than a rule, ronnie.

Would you trade Bay for McCutchen?

Just not much incentive for me. Both guys are 32. I would say both are at the end of their prime with maybe 2 more years of their current production. Maybe more, frick who knows. But just no reason for me to trade ron something he wants unless I get something out of the trade. The difference in Bay and Pena isn't enough for me.

Solid analysis, imo.

David Wright didnt hit for power on the road, either.

he tried a new approach. It was well documented. He was trying to hit everything to RF
