I think CC is a bit overrated (especially in a league that doesn't reward wins), but I do like the move. Martin was expendable and you have plenty of picks at your disposal. Essentially it was a Carp for CC trade as far as you were concerned. Not bad.

I'd be giving too much, IMO. My goal is to gain a solid pitcher and a solid hitter in exchange for a Braun and if need be, stopgap pitcher ie Hughes, Lowe, Kuroda.

u could drop Bourbon, Andrus or Gutierrez or Huff
